The new Samsung Wave 3 is the recent addition to the WAVE Series handsets from Samsung. The 3.3-inch display of the handset offers Multi-touch facility along with scratch resistance. The Quad band GSM handset runs on 1.2 Ghz Dual Core Processor. The smooth working of the handset is offered through Samsung Bada operating system.
The candy bar handset offers expandable memory support up to 32GB along with the basic internal memory. The additional memory is included with the support of micro SD or micro SDHC card slots.

The 8 MP Auto Focus Camera of the handset allow users to capture images with profound clarity and precision. The Camera set is also included with other facilities such as Face detection, Smile detection, Blink shot, and Geo tagging facilities. Light Sensors and Proximity sensors act as other important features of the handset. The new version Bluetooth included in the handset can make data transactions much fast and easier. The Wireless LAN Wi-Fi, USB cable and WAP/GPRS acts as other connectivity options of the handset. The handset has built-in online services such as Facebook and Twitter for as mode of communication.

The Multi format Video and Audio players included in the handset allows user to spent the boring hours with pleasure. The FM radio of the handset offers variety entertainment programs over air. The handset can operate at frequency of about GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900 for 2G networks and HSDPA 900 / 2100 for 3G networks. Sensors such as Accelerometer and Compass are also included in the handset. The powerful lithium-ion battery of the handset offers adequate talk time back up and stand by time to the user. This upgraded version of Wave 2 model offers all advanced technical features within it. The Company reports reveal that the handset will be priced with in Rs. 15,500/- in Indian markets. The price can be considered economic as the handset offers value to money.
