Samsung India has launched its cheapest 3 G touch screen phone, the Samsung Star Nano 3G. Again this is another handset which is specially targeted at the youth consumer segments in India. This model is officially called as S 3370. Samsung Star Nano 3G has got 2.6 inches 256 K colour, QVGA TFT capacitive touch screen display having 240*320 pixel screen resolution. The mobile has got a relatively higher internal memory of 35 MB which allows to store up to 1000 phone entries and 30 dialed, received and missed call records.

Along with the usual inbuilt memory, Star Nano is also equipped with expandable memory slot which is supported by micro SD up to 16 GB. The 1.3 mega pixels digital cameras with LED flash offers Auto focus, 3.3 X digital zooming and smile detection. Video recording and decoding is possible in the handset with QCIF resolution at 15 fps. Nano 3G lets the user to access friend’s updates with the popular social networking portals like Face book, Twitter, My space which are made possible with a simple Pop-up SNS interface. If we talk about connectivity S 3370 provide a range of connectivity modes including GPRS Class 10, EDGE class 10 and Bluetooth V2.1 with A2DP connection. The other features to look in Samsung Nano are FM radio, fake call, full video playback, music recognition and active sync Google and Push emails. The phone also allows access to Samsung Apps and that too without any cost. The handset has also got mobile tracking facility which helps in detecting the lost mobile. To round up with the features S 3370 has English dictionary, mobile prayer, weather forecast and share trends.

Available in single black colour, the Samsung star Nano 3G comes with 960 mAh Li- ion battery which offers a talk time up to 7 hours and standby time of 700 hours. The price of Samsung Star Nano 3 G is Rs 7,320/-.
