Indian mobile market is now seeing launch of many Android based handsets from different manufacturers. Samsung is bringing one such model, i899 Galaxy, with Reliance Communication is all set to be launch the same in the Indian market. This first Android device ever launched by Reliance communication work on 800 MHz CDMA network. The thinnest and the light weight model have a touch screen of dimension 320*480 Pixel. MVGA screen with 16 M color makes images extremely clear and give a lot of space for displaying content. The mobile weighs only 128gm with a dimension of 116.5* 56.4* 12.8 mm.

Samsung Galaxy i899 apart from having Google Android OS has got number of other features which can attract the consumers. Mobile comes with 3.2 mega pixel CMOS camera with auto focus and digital zooming system which capture every movement of life and allows the consumer to click snaps even in dark. The added advantage of the mobile is the Wi-Fi connectivity and Bluetooth which allows the user to get internet connectivity and data access. It comes with an internal memory of 230 MB which can be extended up to 32 GB with Micro SD card slot. The Opera mini browser will make web browsing easier. This mobile phone’s built in services support Face book, Gmail, Google talk, Google maps market and my space. The mobile has got a video player that supports divx format. It has a wide array of entertainment features like MP3 player and a FM radio with outstanding sound quality.

The mobile has got excellent storage capacity also support the messaging channels such as SMS, MMS, and email, both push and pull. The mobile is powered by battery with 1440 mAh, thus having a talk time up to 588 hours and standby time up to 6.7 hours. Samsung Galaxy i899, the stylish looking mobile phone is available in black colour. The price of Samsung i889 in India is expected to be Rs 15,000/.
