Samsung Galaxy S Price in India


Samsung launched its new model Samsung Galaxy S on Android 2.1 platform in India. Samsung is consolidating its presence in smart phone market. Its uniqueness is the weight of the model. The use of Super Amoled technology has resulted in the creation of Samsung’s thinnest and light weight model. Its 4 inch display area makes the images clear and gives lots of space for content. The weight is 118gm and its dimensions are 64.2 * 122.4 * 9.9mm.

Galaxy S has 1GHz Processor, 5-megapixel camera with HD video capture, A-GPS, Bluetooth 3.0 and Wi-Fi. Along with this this model handset has unique features like access to weather, news, stock and Digtal Living Network Alliance (DLNA). It is a new era of social networking with ease of use achieved through these features enabled in Samsung Galaxy S. More over Samsung has integrated utility services like weather, news, and google mobile services like Search, Gmail and Google Maps into the handset, which can be accessed with one click. Also the built in technology of Swype enables the user to enter text quickly and easily, even while you are moving. Usability gets a new dimension with this feature coming along the handset. Handset can also be used as a table top digital photo frame, table clock, calendar and music station. ThinkFree application built into the model will also help in viewing and editing Microsoft 2007 documents.

It comes in 8GB model as well as a 16GB model. The price for the Galaxy S handset in India is Rs 31500/.
