Samsung is on a roll, with a plan to launch few 10’s of new handset models in the coming few months. Ch@t B3410W as the name suggests, is positioned as an affordable touch screen texting mobile phone with a sliding keypad. This is also a Wifi version of much popular Samsung Corby Plus model, released by the company earlier this year. More than anything else, this model is basically designed to make communication and messaging easier.

Samsung B3410W comes from the same family of popular 3410 series, but the added benefit of this new model is the Wifi connectivity. This will allow the user to access the Internet via a wireless LAN or a nearby hotspot. B3410W comes along with a stunning touch screen built on TouchWiz user interface 2.0 standards and the user can access all the major handset functions through easy to use touch screen controls. It is an unlocked GSM quadband handset model with a sliding QWERTY key pad built into it. B3410W is usually. Display unit is of 2.6-inch QVGA 262K specifications along with a 2 mp camera having auto focus capability. This handset is targeted at young population who are frequent users of messaging and communication capabilities of mobile phone. Total dimension of this handset is 103 x 52.5 x 16.2 mm.

Since its main strength is in supporting social marketing communication, it supports internet access and connectivity though high speed channels like Bluetooth, Wifi and USB 2.0 high speed connection. Ch@t comes with an internal memory of 1 GB and extendable up to a total capacity of 16 GB. It has a batter life of 960 mAH and a talk time extending to 3 hours and a stand by time of around 450 hours. Like high speed internet connectivity, interactive social marketing enabling features like compliance for multiple audio and video formats really help users, especially the targeted youth segment in talking and connecting freely across the mobile channel.
