Nokia 701, another smart phone from Nokia. It is said to be the brightest smart phone screen ever released. Until now that title was in the hands of LG Optimus. Because of this brighter screen, Nokia 701 screen display will be visible through very high light intensity. Nokia 701 can be said as the slimmer version of Nokia C7. It is because its looks are exactly similar to that of Nokia C7.Some of the inbuilt features in Nokia 701 are exactly similar to that of Nokia C7. 8 Mp camera with dual LED flash is an example for that.

The resolution of this phone is 360×640 with LCD display. It is also having capacitive touch screen. The glass in this phone is scratch resistant and the phone has light sensor and proximity sensors. The operating system is symbion and the processor used is 1GHz single core ARM. This phone has an R A M of 1 GB. This phone also has 3D graphics accelerator. External memory can be extended up to 32 GB using micro SD card. NOKIA 701 already has got a 8 GB internal memory.

The camera in this phone has many features. Geo tagging, Video stabilizer, Exposure control, Self-timer, Face detection etc are the features of this camera.720pixels HD video can be recorded with this camera. There is an additional front camera which is VGA. Music player supports MP3, AAC, AAC+, eAAC+, WMA, M4A (Apple lossless) and video player supports MPEG4, H.263, H.264, WMV, 3GPP, Real Video 10. For faster internet browsing, the phone is equipped with 3G and WiFi. For data transfer there is Bluetooth with its 3rd version. Like C7 this handset is also an HSDPA set which will enable this set to browse much faster when compared to other mobiles. Also there is in build social networking facilities in NOKIA 701.This handset also supports internet files like HTML, XHTML, Flash Lite, RSS, CSS, and WML. This handset is priced at Rs 19000/-.
