A handset similar to Nokia 100, this handset Nokia 101 is not a simple phone like the 100. It has many more features when compared with it. Nokia launched the two handsets on the same day. The looks of this phone are exactly similar to that of Nokia 100.

Most of the features in this phone are similar to that of Nokia 100. It has the same thin film transistor display i.e. TFT display. Other than this all other features are different. It has MP3 player and FM radio. This handset is a global system for mobile communication phone i.e. it is a GSM enabled handset. The main feature of this phone is that it is a dual SIM phone.

The form factor of this phone is also candy bar because of its structure. 4.33 x 1.79 x 0.59 (110 x 45.5 x 14.9 mm) is the dimensions of this handset. The weight of this phone is also around 71gm. Nokia 101 is available in black and red colors. Soft keys and navigation keys are also available. Another feature of this phone is, it has memory card slots. Maximum memory of the card is up to 16 GB. Most of the phones in this segment don’t have this facility. The slot type is micro secure digital or also known as micro SD in short forms.

Display of Nokia 101 is exactly similar to Nokia 100 i.e. with resolution 120×160 -1.8” and with over 65k colors. The standby time of Nokia 101 is slightly lesser than Nokia 100 i.e. 600 hours. Talk time hours is six hours and the battery capacity is 800MAh.This handset has mp3 player in it so it can play mp3 format songs. Nokia 101 also has radio. The phone book supports over 500 contacts and over 250 messages can be stored in the phone. The headset available is a 3.5 jack headset. The cost of this phone will be under Rs 2500 in Indian markets.
