Micromax launched a new stylish mobile phone Micromax X510 Pike. The dimensions of this new handset are 110.2 x 55 x 14.75 mm. Micromax X510 Pike is a 2.8-inch TFT screen weighing 103.3 grams. This new device has a screen resolution of 240 x 400 pixels with 262K colors. The memory can be expanded up to 16 GB via micro SD card. The phone book has the capacity to store 2000 contacts and can hold up to a maximum of 500 SMS .The phone is available in 6 attractive colors. The most impressive feature of Micromax X510 Pike is the excellent battery back up.This handset is a bar styled full touch screen. Micromax X510 operates with a frequency of GSM 900/DCS 1800 MHz. .The 2 mega pixel camera with digital zoom gives a crystal clear picture. The messaging options include SMS /MMS/EMS. There is an inbuilt Zenga application for email. There are two keys in front and volume keys and music key are on the side. The data connectivity is through Wi-Fi, GPRS and Bluetooth with A2dp.The face book and social networking allows the user to stay connected with his friends around the world.

The mobile comes with Nimbuzz and messengers snaptu and opera mini. Mp3 player with 3.5mm headphone jack, video player with recorder, stereo FM radio and the easily downloadable games enhances user experience. Mobile has a java environment, with which the user can download more java based games and applications. Micromax X510 Pike has 1500 mAh li-ion battery which offers a talk time for about 8 hours and standby for 16 hours. Touch screen, good resolution phone, social networking, price, design, Wi-Fi are considered to be the pros of this cell phone. The cons of this device are that this phone does not have a 3 G network and the camera is also not that effective. Micromax X510 Pike is available at Rs. 6,800/- in the market.
