Micromax X220 Price in India
Another upgraded and improved version is rolled out by Micromax, now it is the turn of X220 slider model. Designed with a stylish look and feel with a sliding capability, this phone has a long lasting battery life. Along with its attractive looks, lot of standard as well as additional innovative features have been added to this model.
X220 Slider is a dual band GSM 900/1800 Mhz phone with a 65k color screen and a resolution of 128X160 pixel. Memory is enhanced by adding in 2GB mico SD card. This new slide phone has a digital camera with video recording facilities too. X220 comes along with a set of musical features like FM Radio, audio and video music player. On the internet and data access point, this model has WAP and Bluetooth connectivity. Besides these two, X 220 model supports a wide array of different connectivity options like USB, GPRS, Wifi, Infrared and so on. I am yet to see such a phone in this price range who can support all these connectivity options. It has a batter life long enough to have a talk time upto 180 hours and a back up period of around 240 hours. Though it has a 0.3 mp camera, it doesn’t have features like auto focus and camera resolution.
Working on Java based OS, this could support applications and games. Though phone has some of those common features like alphanumeric keypad and an inbuilt Dictaphone, but it certainly lacks other common features like flashlight. Price of X220 Slider model in India is around Rs. 2,000/-.

Please do not believe what is mentioned on the features for the phone
I have bought this phone and following is what I feel about this phone, though it costed me only 2000. – the display is bad, cannot set the contrast level, icons are too tiny; not very good animations; video player sucks even more [looks like watching a 3D plastic sticker]; no video recorder; games are like some 1950s kids games; I had to shell out another 300 to 500 bucks to get a 2GB storage card; I need to remove the dual SIM option if I need to use the 2GB storage card, dual SIM does not work if the Micro SD card is in use; no smooth movement of the slider, keypad is like some toy phone’s key, fingers start paining after using the keypad and the slider…….on the whole please do not go for a Micromax, unless you are total IDIOT. I would rather suggest to people to put an extra 1000 and buy a really good phone from Nokia or Samsung. In the log run you might end up spending more on a Micromax, as these phones are from some third party non branded maker and not Micromax. Micromax is just sticking their name on them and marketing it, plus you do not have service centres for Micromax everywhere. You might end up travelling to another city to find a service centre, moreover, I doubt Micromax will have all the spare parts for these Third Party phones. You might end up with a broken phone that can never be fixed, and give it to your kid or nephew as a toy for him. That is what exactly a Micromax phone is, A Toy Phone for a Kid, and that too a very expensive toy. Think about what you decide to do, do not fall for the hype that Micromax is creating through Ads, anyone can say anything on TV. In the end, what matters is, what you have in your Hands.
