Maxx launched a new dual SIM GSM mobile MX443.This new cell phone was released in April 2010 this year. MX443 has a TFT screen with 262k colors. The operating frequency of this hand phone is GSM 900/1800 MHz .The dimensions of this handset is 112 x 51 x 17mm. This dual GSM mobile weighs 77 grams. MX443 has dual SIM and has dual standby capabilities as well enable messaging through SMS and MMS. However the phone lacks email and push email options. MX443 is a 2.4 inches mobile phone with a screen resolution of 240X320 pixels. Though the phone offers 2G connection, it lacks 3G support.MX443 has a 1280 x 1024 pixels camera which gives a crystal clear picture at every shot. The camera is supported with digital zoom and video recording facility but doesn’t have geo tagging, face detection and autofocus features. This dual SIM phone supports Bluetooth, GPRS and WAP enabled database connectivity. The cell phone has the capacity to store one thousand entries in the phonebook. Pre-downloaded games, polyphonic ringtones and music player can enrich user experience. MX443 does not have Wi-Fi and infrared. The java based cell phone has very limited features but it is a good option for low budget customers. The users can use USB cable to transfer the important data and other files from PC to mobile. The common features like clock, alarm and t9 dictionary are available in this handset too. An FM radio is also provided with an option for recording. This new phone is available only in single color black.

The standard MX 443 phone kit contains handset, USB cable, charger, user guide and speaker. MX443 is powered by standard Li-ion 900 mAH battery which offers a talk time of 3.5 hrs and standby of about 120 hrs. The company offers one year warranty for this product. This cell phone is priced at around Rs. 3,600/- in the domestic market.
