Maxx has launched one more Dual SIM GSM handset targeting the Indian market. They launched the new one, Maxx MX382 in August 2010. It has a TFT color display and a candy bar appearance. The phones multiple SIM operates under the frequency of GSM 900 / 1800 MHz. The model comes with the entertainment options like 1.3 Mega pixel Camera with digital zoom, FM Radio, FM Recording and a MP3 Player with Yamaha Speaker option. These options make this model good for music lovers and younger consumers.Maxx MX382 also has data and connectivity options like Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, USB cable for transfer of music, pictures and application through PC, Internet (GPRS). However this model does not support EDGE. In terms of connectivity the Maxx MX382 is not compatible with 3G. It has messaging features like SMS and MMS. However it is not ideal for business users, as it doesn’t support email. The phone has the capacity to store up to one thousand contacts in the phone address book. Also it has a slot for a Micro SD Card which can be further expand the memory of the phone. The phone is very compact and slim in appearance. It comes in two different colors Red and Blue. Other applications of the phone are Answering Machine, Lost Mobile Tracker, Java Support which allows you to install a variety of Java based applications on your phone such as dictionaries, games, internet browsers etc. It has a Privacy protection features which allow you to set passwords to block access to some parts of your phones such as the phonebook, messages. MX382 is powered by standard Li-ion 800 MHz battery.

The standard phone kit of MX382 contains battery, charger, data cable and hands free set along with the mobile and user manual. Maxx MX382 is priced in the Indian market around Rs.3,600/-.
