Kaarbonn k8 is one among the latest mobile handsets launched by the Company. The handset is equipped to meet the changing demands of customers. The handset offers dual SIM compatibility along with dual stand by option. The operating frequency of each SIM of the handset is GSM 900/1800 MHz. The handset sports 2.4 inches TFT touch screen display that supports 262K colors along with 240 X 320 pixels resolution. The physical dimension of the handset is 114.5×50.5×11.3mm. The weight of handset is 82 grams only. The handset can offer internal memory support of 128MB + 64MB along with external memory support up to 8 GB.

The multimedia handset is included with two cameras. The 1.3 MP primary camera, included in the rear end of the handset is meant for image capturing applications where as the 0.3 MP VGA at the front end helps user in video chatting. The phone book and the SMS memory of the handset can hold up to 500 messages each. Music lovers can entertain themselves with their favorite tracks through the multi formatted music player included in the handset. The FM radio along Video player (3GP and MPEG4 formats) acts as alternate amusement aids of the handset.

The handset comes in elegant White and Purple shades. The Bluetooth, GPRS, WAP, and USB offer the data and internet connectivity of the handset. The power required for the working of the handset is provided by the 1400 mAH Battery. The battery of the handset supports talk time up to 500 minutes and stand by time up to 5 days. Other specifications of the handset include multiple language support, games, Mobile Tracker, anti Theft feature, Call Conference, and so on. The handset with all these specifications is available in Indian Market at a price of around Rs. 2950/-.
