BlackBerry’s new 3G Pearl 9100 is a compact smart phone ever launched by RIM. This phone utilizes SureType technology which makes it learn the words frequently used by the consumer and thereby typing is made easy. Optical trackpad makes scrolling through menus and icons simple and similar to that of a laptop computer. 3G Pearl 9100 has got a special feature, Blackberry Messenger which enables chatting. It also helps consumers to know the time of delivery and even the time when your friend actually read the message. Pearl 9100’s battery will last really long. The company says that it can last for 30hours. This phone has 2GB memory card and it supports micro SD card expandable up to 32 GB.Blackberry 3G Pearl enables the phone in viewing videos and hearing favorite songs almost 4000 in number. Multitasking is made easy by this phone so that you can attend call and update face book at the same time. The dimension of the phone is 108mm x 50 mm x 13.3 mm and it weighs up to 93gms. It has got high resolution 360×400 pixel color display. Light sensing screen has back lighting facility too. 3.2 Mega Pixel camera is available with auto focusing feature. Camera also possesses flash with a zoom in capacity of up to 2.5X times. Video recording is also possible using this camera. This phone has built-in GPS functionality and it include BlackBerry maps. QWERTY keyboard with backlighting facility is another feature of this phone. Bluetooth, Organizer and Media player are other features of this smart phone. Integrated hands- free speaker and microphone is also present in this 3G Pearl 9100. Password protection and screen locking facility make the smart phone secured too. This phone is available in various colors like Piano Black, Opal Pink, Royal Purple, Flash White and Red Gradient.
