AirNet has given the Indian mobile consumers another handset named AN2020i. This new model has 1.8 inches color screen having dimensions of 100 x 44 x 13 mm. AN2020i is a candy bar dual SIM mobile weighing about 80 grams. The handset has quite impressive features, that too at quite an affordable price to the average Indian consumers. The most attractive feature of this sleek multimedia phone is its high battery life. This cell phone has a good memory capacity too by which it can store up to 500 contacts. .Users can retrieve the calls too whenever required. However there are shortcomings too in this phone. The connectivity options lack Edge/infrared/Wap/GPRS. Users will also miss the USB cable and Bluetooth.The operating frequency of this hand phone is 900/1800 MHz .This dual SIM (GSM+CDMA) has an external memory which can be stretched up to 2 GB via T flash card. Users can enjoy games with the Java environment. MP3 player, video player supporting MP4 format, and FM radio with 20 preset station memory are some of the other entertainment features. Messaging options include SMS mode but does not include MMS or email, thus making it not worthy for some business user. The handset has a mobile tracker which can be used to detect the phone when it is lost. AN2020i has a digital camera but lacks geo tagging and face detection features. Dual SIM, multimedia mobile features with high capacity battery are some of the other features of AirNet mobiles. Sound settings include multiple ringtones and vibrating alert. LED torch and e book reader are the added features over other relative phone models available in the market. Hands free speaker, alarm clock and calendar are there too in this new low cost phone.

This cell phone has 1050 mAh battery which offers talk time of 7 hours and standby up to 18 to 20 days. This device is available in black color with red strip. AirNet is planning to launch more handsets with dual SIM and more multimedia features. The phone is available in tier 1 and tier 2 cities in India mostly. AN2020i is priced around Rs. 1,699/-.
