LG launched a new Android powered smart phone LG Optimus.Q. Optimus Q has 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor. The company wish to release 10 handsets of Android platform by the end of 2010.It has hit the Asian markets and will be shortly moving to the US market. This is the first smart phone with a physical keyboard to come with Android 2.2 preloaded.  LG has positioned this model as comparable to Blackberry models and also with other physical QWERTY Android handsets like the Motorola Droid and Milestone.LG Optimus Q is an AMOLED capacitive touchscreen, with 16M colors. If we start with features LG Optimus.Q, it has 5 MP, 2560 x 1920 pixel camera with auto focus and LED flash. There are options for Geo-tagging, face detection, image stabilizer with the camera which allows you to record and share your special moments. The data connectivity is powered by 2G, 3G and it also includes other connectivity services like GPRS, EDGE, WLAN and A2DP Bluetooth. This new touch screen has QWERTY keyboard, Touch-sensitive optical track pad and Accelerometer sensor for UI auto-rotate.

The size of the screen constitutes 480 x 800 pixels. The Stereo FM radio with RDS  and MP3 ring tones can entertain the user with just a click at the button. Speaker phone is enabled with 3.5 mm audio jack and Dolby Mobile sound enhancement. The phone book allows photo call and can hold unlimited entries. This 3.5 inches smart phone has an internal memory of 3 GB.The memory is expandable up to 32 GB.Messaging options include SMS, MMS, Push email and IM.

There are predownloaded games and the user can download and play the games he wants with ease and comfort. LG OptimusQ is available in a single color Black. This Java based handset has DMB TV Tuner, SNS Widgets, and Social networking integration with live updates. MP3/WAV, MP4/DviX/WMV player, Organizer, Photo/videoeditor are some other features. The 2.0 microUSB allows the user to transfer records from PC to mobile. The new hand set is loaded with Li-Po 1350 mAh battery.
